Communication & Knowledge Management Officer pro-bono fellowships are open for immediate recruitment:

We are recruiting motivated volunteers to join Kabod Group’s Kabod Young Professionals Program (IVP). These short, high-impact placements are ideal for final-year students or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience in communication, knowledge management while contributing to projects in language development, education technology, and localisation.
About Kabod Group
Kabod Group works at the intersection of language, education, and development. Our projects include research, localisation, capacity building, and digital initiatives that amplify language inclusion and improve community outcomes. IVP volunteers join real project teams, gain exposure to international development workflows, and receive mentorship from experienced practitioners.
Role summary:
Support Kabod’s storytelling, documentation, and organizational learning systems. You will turn project learning into clear, accessible content and help maintain our knowledge resources.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and edit content for our website, newsletters, and social media
- Document project activities, impact stories, and lessons learned.
- Create briefs, summaries, and internal reports for teams and partners
- Build and maintain an organized knowledge repository (templates, guides, resources)
Support internal knowledge-sharing sessions and capacity building
Requirements
- Degree or student in Communications, Linguistics, Knowledge Management, PR, Development Studies, or related field. Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills. Comfortable with basic digital tools (Google Drive, MS Office, Canva or similar).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual English + French is a strong advantage.

- Remote placements are supported; in-person work is available at our East Legon office when feasible
- Reliable internet access and a personal computer are required for remote participants.
