Kabod Group (KG) is a consulting firm providing Professional services in Knowledge Management (KM), e-learning and Languages (interpretation and translation from English to French, Portuguese and over 30 African languages).
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in startup businesses or entrepreneurial ecosystems. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a COO, a master’s degree in finance or Sales and Marketing, and proven expertise in training and skills development. The role requires a strategic thinker with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a solid 7-year track record of managing SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate operations across Kabod Groupe and Muna Kalati teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Manage and monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support business development initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team to strategize and implement client acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Analyse market trends and business opportunities to drive growth and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and teams to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in finance or Sales and Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, with at least 7 years in managing SMEs.
- Experience in Training & Skills development.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
