Kabod Group (KG) is a consulting firm providing Professional services in Knowledge Management (KM), e-learning and Languages (interpretation and translation from English to French, Portuguese and over 30 African languages).

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in startup businesses or entrepreneurial ecosystems. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a COO, a master’s degree in finance or Sales and Marketing, and proven expertise in training and skills development. The role requires a strategic thinker with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a solid 7-year track record of managing SMEs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and coordinate operations across Kabod Groupe and Muna Kalati teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  2. Manage and monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. Support business development initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with the business development team to strategize and implement client acquisition strategies.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  6. Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
  7. Analyse market trends and business opportunities to drive growth and operational excellence.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and teams to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance or Sales and Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, with at least 7 years in managing SMEs.
  • Experience in Training & Skills development.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
