CALL FOR CONTRIBUTION | Afrolinguals Magazine – Kabod Group  

Afrolinguals Magazine is seeking submissions for our upcoming issue focused on “The Language Learning Market in Africa.” We invite researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, language enthusiasts, translators, interpreters, linguists and language professionals, to contribute their expertise, insights and analysis on this theme.

As a quarterly publication, Afrolinguals aims to be a valuable resource for LSPs in Africa and beyond, providing the latest industry news, cutting-edge techniques and professional development opportunities. Our mission is to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and growth within the language industry.

We invite submissions that explore various aspects of this theme, including but not limited to:

  • Emerging trends in language learning technologies and apps in Africa
  • The impact of multilingualism on the language learning industry in Africa
  • Challenges and opportunities in language education across different African regions
  • The influence of globalization on language learning priorities in Africa
  • The economic and cultural impact of the language learning market on African economies
  • The role of technology in language learning
  • Case studies of successful language learning platforms, startups or programs in Africa
  • The future of language learning in Africa: predictions and possibilities

We welcome articles, essays, interviews, case studies and opinion pieces that offer valuable insights, practical tips and thought-provoking perspectives on the theme.

Submission Guidelines:

– Articles should be between 1000-1,500 words in length.

– All submissions must be original, well-researched, and adhere to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

– Please include a brief author bio (50-100 words) and a high-resolution author photo.

– Submit in Microsoft Word format (.docx)

– All submissions should be sent as Word documents to languages@kabodgroup.com and elongue@kabodgroup.com with the subject line “Afrolinguals Magazine Submission – [Article Title].”
