Help build the operational infrastructure of Africa’s most practical training program on alternative funding for nonprofits. This is a pro-bono role with real responsibilities, real mentorship, and a clear pathway to a paid position as the program scales.
Commitment: 10–15 hours per week Location: Remote (Africa-based preferred) Duration: 6 months, renewable Applications: Rolling — open until filled Organization: Kabod Group International Program: Nonprofit School of Wealth Engagement: Pro-bono / Volunteer Reports to: Founder & Lead Trainer Start date: Immediate / Negotiable
About the Nonprofit School of Wealth
Most African NGOs will collapse in the next 3–5 years if they do not build independent revenue systems. Official Development Assistance has been cut by over 23% globally. Donor priorities have shifted. The grant-dependency model is breaking down.
The Nonprofit School of Wealth (SoW) is a structured, coach-led program under Kabod Group International that helps African nonprofit leaders move from grant-chasing to resource-building — using 12 proven alternative funding and financing models. It is not a course. It is a 90-day system-building experience anchored in four pillars: Diagnostic, Diversification, Wealth Creation, and Resilience.
To date, the SoW has supported over 80 African CSOs, built a curated network of 15–20 specialist coaches and mentors across the continent, and is growing its cohort model across Anglophone and Francophone Africa.
“At the SoW, we do not teach you to beg better but to build better. There is money in Africa — you need a different mindset to see it and access it.” — Christian Elongue, Founder, Nonprofit School of Wealth
The Role
The Project Coordinator is the operational backbone of the SoW. This is a hands-on, systems-oriented role — not administrative. You will work directly with the Founder, interact with coaches and mentors, and support participants across cohorts. Your contribution will be visible, your ideas will be heard, and the program’s architecture will bear your fingerprints as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cohort scheduling, session logistics, and participant tracking across the 90-day program cycle — ensuring everything runs on time and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Coordinate with coaches and mentors to confirm availability, brief them on cohort participants, and follow up on session delivery and commitments.
- Manage SoW communications across WhatsApp, email newsletters, and social media — including drafting content, responding to inquiries, and converting interested organizations into registered participants.
- Maintain a centralized knowledge repository of training materials, frameworks, templates, case studies, and program guides.
- Document session notes, participant feedback, success stories, and lessons learned to continuously improve the program and build a public evidence base.
- Design and administer monitoring tools — intake assessments, mid-cohort check-ins, and end-of-cohort evaluations — and compile findings into quarterly reports.
- Support the onboarding of new cohort participants, including orientation materials, welcome communications, and platform access.
- Research potential partner organizations and networks aligned with the SoW mission, and support the Founder in preparing outreach and partnership proposals.
- Assist in the recruitment and vetting of new coaches and trainers as the program scales across new modules and geographies.
- Track key performance indicators — cohort completion rates, revenue generated by participants, coach satisfaction — and contribute to the SoW’s Theory of Change and MEL framework.
