About Company  

Muna Kalati (MK) is a membership-based association with over 1300 members and a subsidiary organization from Kabod Group, that promotes reading for African children’s books through research, policy advocacy, and capacity development. We are seeking an Advertising, Marketing, and Sales intern to join our team! This document would give you more understanding on the work, vision and values of MK. 

Position Overview  

As an intern, you will be an integral member of our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, creating compelling marketing sales, and achieving targets. This multifaceted position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of advertising channels, marketing trends, and effective sales techniques.  You will help Muna Kalati structure its value proposition to market and sell it more effectively to publishing and book professionals.  

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and tailor advertising strategies to meet their objectives. 
  • Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. 
  • Analyze data and key performance indicators to measure the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Maintain brand consistency in all marketing materials and communications. 
  • Identify and generate leads through various prospecting methods, including, networking, Email prospecting, Partnerships, Referral programs etc…..  
  • Negotiate contracts, terms of sales, and pricing structures to maximize profitability. 

 Required Profile 

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, sales or digital communication etc.  
  • At least 2 years experiences in online advertising, marketing or sales.  
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
