1. Background 

Kabod Group International is a language service provider based in Ghana, providing a range of language solutions including translation, interpretation, transcription, subtitling, and voice over services. We work with clients from various industries, including government, healthcare, legal, finance, and many more.

  1. Objective 

In order to update our database of African language consultants, Kabod Group International is calling for applications from qualified language professionals in various language pairs, including but not limited to English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Swahili, Akan, Yoruba, Ewe, Fon, Ga, Dagbani, Hausa and other African languages. We are looking for freelance language professionals who are native speakers of the target language and have a strong command of the source language.

  1. Scope 

Freelance language professionals are invited to express their interest in providing online and on-site services, such as translation, interpretation, transcription, subtitling, and voice over services. They will be awarded contracts for the provision of language services to our clients.

  1. Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for inclusion in our database of language consultants, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a native speaker of the target language.
  • Have a strong command of the source language.
  • Possess a relevant degree or certification in translation, interpretation, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in providing language services in their language combination.
  • Have access to reliable internet and computer equipment.
  1. Remuneration

Contracts are awarded on a need basis, and contract fees range from $0.05 to $0.15 per word, depending on factors such as project type, experience of the consultant, and other relevant factors.
